Chinese Ambassador to Cyprus Yang Yundong Visits DIAS Media Group
On September 8, 2026, Ambassador of China to Cyprus Yang Yundong visited DIAS Media Group, the largest private media group in Cyprus, and met with the founder and Honorary President of the Group Costas Hadjicostis, President of the Board Simos Angelides and CEO Chrysanthos Tsouroullis.
Ambassador Yang noted that as media serves as an important bridge for enhancing mutual understanding between peoples, Chinese and Cypriot media are expected to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in areas such as news coverage, personnel exchanges and program production, so as to foster an even more favorable public opinion environment for China-Cyprus friendship.
Senior management of DIAS Media Group expressed readiness to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Chinese media organizations and contribute more to promoting people-to-people understanding between the two countries.
Ambassador Yang also visited the studios and newsroom of Sigma TV, a subsidiary of DIAS Media Group.
